Why glass

Most diffusers hide their work inside plastic. The Wellspring shows it.

Plastic tanks react with essential oils; over months they cloud, degrade, and dull the scent. The Wellspring's vessel is glass through and through — water and oil turn to mist in plain view, lit softly from below, and every scent arrives exactly as it was pressed.

Glass Above All

The vessel is glass, not a plastic tank in disguise. Oil integrity is the whole point.

Turned Beech Base

Shaped from a single piece with a lone brass button. One press for mist and light; a second to rest the light; a third to rest the vessel.

Lit From Below

A soft underglow turns the working water into a small, moving lamp after dark.

At the desk

The well at the edge of the page.

Fill it at the start of the working day and let it murmur beside the notebook. When the light drops, the underglow takes over and the desk becomes a quieter place to finish the hour.

The Ritual

Three unhurried steps

01

Fill to the line

Water to the fill line of the glass vessel.

02

A few drops of oil

Three or four drops of your chosen note is a full day.

03

One press of brass

Mist and underglow wake together. Press again to rest.

A note on the materials: beech grain varies from base to base, and hand-finished glass carries the faint seams and rare bubble of its making. We consider both the signature of the process, not a flaw in it.

Dimensions & what's in the box+
The Wellspring measures 4.6″ across and 5.0″ tall. In the box: the glass vessel and lid, turned beech base, power cable, and a fill cup. A quick-start card covers the button presses.
Care & cleaning+
Empty and rinse the vessel weekly and let it dry open. Wipe the beech with a dry cloth; keep standing water off the wood. A monthly wipe of the mist plate with a cotton swab keeps the plume full.
Which oils can I use?+
Any pure essential oil. Because the vessel is glass you can also run citrus oils, which plastic-tank makers warn against. Three to four drops per fill.

“You can see the mist being born in the glass. I did not expect to enjoy watching a diffuser as much as I do.”

Questions

Before you order

How long does one fill last?+

The 80ml vessel carries a normal working evening on one fill, misting in gentle cycles. It shuts itself off the moment the water runs out.

Can it run light-only?+

Yes. One press wakes mist and light together; a second press rests the light and keeps the mist; the cycle takes you to light-only and off.

Is it loud?+

It is ultrasonic and whisper-quiet — closer to the sound of a page turning than an appliance.

Which oil should I start with?+

No. III Eucalyptus for morning focus, No. I Cedarwood for the library mood. The Scent Library page walks through all three.

What does the warranty cover?+

One full year against any fault in the glass, beech, or electronics — repaired or replaced without fuss.

The desk's centerpiece awaits

The Wellspring keeps the morning; the Lamp Diffuser owns the evening — walnut, brass, and a warm Edison filament over the same quiet mist.
